Hello,
My father grew up in Montreal and has always been very fond
of the aircraft. On Tuesday I hope to see a live Norseman on Lake Suggog in
Ontario. I'm a part-time aviation photo journalist one is being flown
down from Red Lake for a full restoration at Corporate Aircraft Restorations
at Oshawa,Ontario. I have a link to their site from my page where I will be
posting photos of the restoration.
My wife and I are going to Quebec City for a vacation and I
was checking out the local airport websites at Montreal and Quebec City
before we head down and I came across your site. My father took many
photos from the Montreal region during the 40s, 50s and 60s so I want to visit
all the airports that he photographed at.
Attached are two photos that my father took. We have more
in the collection but that is all I can find at this time. The first
aircraft is CF-AYO the prototype. I photographed the remains of this
aircraft at Sault St. Marie last year.
Happy Landings,
Eric Dumigan
